Our Story

Named for the olive, built for gathering

Olea takes its name from the Latin for olive — the fruit that anchors the Mediterranean table the way this room anchors the corner of Arch Street. Exposed brick and blackened steel meet warm brass fixtures and string light, an industrial shell holding something soft.

The kitchen works from the same instinct: olive oil, open flame, citrus, and salt, treated with enough restraint that the ingredients still taste like themselves. It's food meant to be shared across a crowded table, late, with the lights low.
